It's been a while since I've done a fabric covered cocktail style, so thought I'd think outside the box again.  I'm also enjoying making some good old fashioned rouleaus as well.  They're probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I think they sometimes add a little bit of something different.  This is definitely a statement piece, not for the shy wallflower!  Check out the For Sale page for details

Well it seems leather and lace are the new kids on the block! I'm loving working with the guipure lace and there are some gorgeous laces out there.  Leather however is testing my thinking in millinery as stitching isn't proving to work! Yes! Glue it is.  As one of my friends pointed out recently, "But that's against your religion!?" I tested the theory and it seems it is correct.  The stitches just don't want to hold through the leather. Still anywhere possible, my hats and headpieces will still be hand stitched, including any trims on my leather pieces.
